It can be really hard to deal with
your ever-changing pregnant body. It's even harder when you don't have a
full-length mirror. Even if you do, it can appear that all the action is
taking place in your belly, especially in the later months.
Sure,
your arms are a little thicker and your face is softer (a nice way of
saying "rounder") -- but "I'm mostly belly, right honey?" When I would
pose this question to Bob, he'd nod nicely, but my sister pointed out that
no, my butt was pregnant, too. And
it's true. Mostly because it's hard to make the pretzel-like turn involved
with looking at your rear now that you've gained thirty pounds in the
front, partly because maternity undies are so thick (check ours out, by
the way) and partly because you didn't get maternity underwear, so your
old stuff is being stretched beyond recognition, pregnant VPL (that's
Visible Panty Lines) is horrendous.
Mama Spanx to the rescue!
Wear these under a skirt or any stretchy, sexy dress that you don't want
to look like a road map of your butt bulges. And rejoice!
