his great goes-with-everything shirt from Majamas really
got me thinking about that song that goes, "cruel to be kind, yadda yadda
yadda." Why? Picture this? You're going to do the right thing for your
baby and nurse him/her. Maybe the plan is to try for the first six weeks
(which are, of course, the hardest) or you're gunning for a year.
Whatever
your feelings about how this is best for baby, you're determined to give
it a whirl. Hiding under one of those nursing shawls not only strikes you
as pre-suffragette-like, they might as well be covered in orange day-glo
paint with arrows that say, Breastfeeding Happening Here! So you check out
the offerings of these strange things called "nursing clothes," which have
holes cut in them to get baby to the goods. And most of them are, quite
frankly, hideous. Like some cruel joke. But now
you get the last laugh. We
only have it in black, but buy two. And chuckle away at your deceptive,
new Mata Hari of Breastfeeding look.
