I've told this story before, but it bears repeating. When I was pregnant and
showing with my first baby, I was looking in the mirror, marveling at the size
of my belly. "The amazing thing," I said to my sister, "is that I'm all belly."
From behind me came her voice, "Not from where I'm standing --

looking pretty pregnant, too!" Ouch!
But true. And "hiding" your expanding
bottom line with your husband's jeans or baggy sweats just makes you look like
an aircraft carrier. These jeans mimic your non-pregnant True Religion faves,
but at a fraction of the price, for a fraction of the time (yes, you can pay
hundreds of dollars for real designer maternity jeans, but why, exactly?)
These are cut to flatter and comfort your growing belly with a
wide, supportive band. And the pocket
design is hot! So put away stuff that doesn't fit, or is unflattering (to find
out what isn't working for your new body, ask your sister -- she'll tell you the
truth) and enjoy these for the next many months, even after baby arrives.
